Learn how to make the best cauliflower Pizza !

Hi friends!

I just love pizza…easy to make, tasteful and quick to get ready.

I have been researching, testing and creating a recipe where I can have a more healthy dough.

We all know zucchini and cauliflower are very versatile but it may be surprising to you that in the right combination, they can also make a great pizza dough. It’s a trick to get the right consistency so I kept trying until…. Voila!

I searched for a dough that would hold up well under an array of delicious pizza toppings. Firm – even, dare I say, a touch crispy – but robust enough to deliver all those goodies that topped the pizza to our waiting mouths.

After trying and trying I was amazed by the recipe I am passing to you.

Just right, just golden and gluten free!

Let’s make it!

Ingredients:

5 cups of cauliflower florets

2 cloves of garlic

1 ½ cups of mozzarella cheese

2 large eggs

2 tablespoon of cilantro

¼ teaspoon of salt

MAKING IT:

Pre-heat the oven to 425F.

Cover a large pizza pan with parchment paper.

In a food processor blend the cauliflower florets with the clove of garlic.

Transfer it to a glass bowl and place in the microwave on high for 3 minutes.

Wait until it cools down and add 1 ½ cup of mozzarella cheese, salt, pepper, cilantro and the eggs.

Mix it very well and spread at the pizza pan. With one cauliflower I can make two pizzas.

 

Bake for 30 to 40 minutes, depending of your oven, and the crust is dry and golden. Your house should now be smelling so good !

Remove from the oven and place the toping you like. I use tomato sauce, pieces of mozzarella cheese, basil, olives.

Put back in the oven until the topping is warm and the cheese is melting 5 to 10 minutes.

Enjoy this delicious gluten free pizza with a glass of wine!
